Kristin's Caribbean Art Postcards

These adorable creations are from Kristin W Haynes blog
Kristin is a "fun in the sun" Artist who lives and works in the Caribbean. Her Artwork is of the real stuff that the rest of us just dream about. Her quirky and fun Lolitta Lizard and her Caribbean beach houses are so adorable. They remind me of a trip I enjoyed to Barbados many years ago where I fell in love with the island life. Kristin's work is available at Zazzle.

James Brandess Still Life

I sent this one to Marianna in Finland. This is one of my favorite postcards. I got this when I was on vacation a couple of years ago in Michigan. The Saugatuck village is full of shops, studios, and galleries. It's a really fun place to visit.

While searching for cool postcards this morning, I came across Shannon Posniewski's Postcard Collection, which was a cool Postcarding treat. This one "Monkies In Space" was one her mom "made" from something else. Love It!

I received these two on Saturday. I'm now going to post the stamps because they are equally as beautiful. These both were received from Germany. Altotting is from Sabine from Yahoo's group World in Postcrossing for ABC swap. The other one "Blue Door" is from Sandra with Postcrossing, which is an IKEA postcard.

Postcard Journals

This great idea is from Grace Bonney at Design*Sponge. She takes left over postcards from art show's, folds them, puts paper in the middle and staples it all together to make a journal. You'll find the instructions at Grace's website. Even if you don't want to hurt your Good postcards, This is a great idea for the one's you don't end up sending. This is such a great idea!

Cumbrae Sensory Trail Postcard

This is from my postcard buddy Karen who lives in East Kilbride in the UK. This postcard is from the Cumbrae Sensory Trail, from the Isle of Greater Cumbrae. "It's a small Isle on the West Coast in the Firth of Clyde." One of Karen's' family Favorites. "You can cycle round the Isle in just over an hour. The website boasts about It being a trail for all seasons.

"The Cumbrae Sensory Trail can be enjoyed all year round, with the different seasons offering their own unique charm, from the seal colony in winter, to primroses and bluebells in spring, orchids and wild flowers in summer and a glorious display of colour in autumn. "

Traveling through postcards is fun, but I'd love to visit for real!
